Slow Vinyasa Yoga with Laura Carim-Todd
A yoga class based on coordinating breath and movement at a slow enough pace to allow for inquiry and exploration. It is guided in a practical and down-to-earth manner to emphasize self-acceptance and increase body awareness, range of motion, balance and strength. Props such as chairs, blocks, or blankets are used according to your specific needs. All sizes, shapes, and ages are welcomed. This class is suitable for those healing from cancer, cancer treatment, or surgery, as well as certain chronic conditions such as stress or pain. Benefits include: improved posture, improved range of motion, increased strength, enhanced ability to cope with stress, improved balance, and increased physical and mental self-awareness.
